We are a network of recovering lawyers and judges throughout the state, dedicated to assisting others within the profession who are suffering from alcohol and substance abuse problems. We are a private, non-profit corporation funded by members contributions and private donations.
Our organization is founded on the principle of anonymity and provides services in strict confidentiality. The program is voluntary and open to all California lawyers, judges and law students. Our consultants and volunteers stand ready to assist their colleagues in all areas of recovery.

These 1 hour sessions have been created and produced by the Other Bar for attorneys who want to get their MCLE credit from experienced attorneys in the field of Intervention, Treatment and Recovery from chemical Dependency. Who better than The Other Bar can provide real experience in the field from over 30 years of organizational history? The Other Bar gives a true lawyer to lawyer experience that also qualifies for 1 hour of participatory MCLE credit for Detection/Prevention of Substance Abuse when viewed online.
We hold meetings all over the state. Click on the city to find the nearest meeting to you.
